Apart from a brief time across the border in South Dakota for school, I have lived in the Twin Cities area my entire life. I am married and live with my husband and our dog. In my free time you can find me swimming, exercising, being outside hiking/exploring new places, listening to music and learning through podcasts, or visiting local coffee shops. I enjoy traveling and keep a “bucket list” of coffee shops and restaurants to visit in various places I might go. If you have a favorite place, I would love to hear about it!

I was drawn to the counseling field through my passion for wellness. This is a holistic concept which hinges on finding balance in how you care for yourself in all areas of life. Sometimes, life’s obstacles and challenges move us in such a way that we get weighted down in one area. Stuck in behaviors, patterns, feelings, or experiences that we cannot seem to overcome, we lose our footing. As a counselor, I hope to help you regain your balance through exploring what will support steadiness within the various areas of your life.

In my work I seek to meet you where you are now, and join you in the journey. My goal is to provide a comfortable and inviting space as you seek a deeper understanding of yourself, the areas you desire to grow in, and how to get there. While drawing from current research and my education, I love looking through what you are experiencing now to discover the root of the problem. In that lies the healing which I am so hopeful for you to find.
