Confidentiality


Your privacy and confidentiality is of our utmost concern. The theraputic relationship requires a great deal of trust and respect. Any information revealed during therapy will be kept strictly confidential.  This information will not be revealed to any other person or agency without written permission, with certain limitations. (see below) 



Limits to Confidentiality


There are certain situations that counselors are required by law to reveal confidential information.  These situations include but are not limited to:

1. An immediate threat of harm to yourself or another

2. Any physical abuse, neglect, or sexual abuse of children or vulnerable adults within the past three years.

3. The authorization of realeasing your records by State or Federal law
